If they do, they probably won't tell you. At least not publicly. I don't know any good areas, so why not just try doing a few runs in some areas you think may be good. Or try the ones where you've noticed a lot of good salvage items dropping like during missions or quests.

I'll tell you. It's not the best, but it's a start.

You know the Great Northern Wall quest where you have to find Bonfazz Burntfur's army before they charge the wall?

[when they rush and u get like 2 minutes or so to report back to captain Calhaan?]

Bring ur best tanking stuff there and just mass murder the Charr there.

It's not that good really but I'm sure you'll get SOMETHING butchering them all. Of course, after 2 minutes, u just die but hey, it's something I hope.

Can you even get superior runes there? It shouldn't take more than a day or 2 of pretty solid farming to unlock all all the minors, what's left is the superiors, and that's what most people mean by "good" farming spots.

I found a great spot. I get a rune every single time i go out to hunt. It is just a case of jumping out the doorway and collecting them.
I had another character that was literally full of runes.
I had so many warrior, necro and elem runes that i had to give them away because it would have taken forever to sell them.
The spot also drops tonnes of dye every time.
Location - classified. (sorry)

I dislike you : P.

On the topic of the Great Northern Wall quest - Bring 2 tanks and 2 AOE Ele's.
Kill them fast and hard, and soon, there'll be nothing left but 2 Very Important things - Salvageable armor (the occasional blue, purple, or orange), and Charr Hides. Both these are excellent for selling. Do this four or five times, and you'll have plenty of runes (from armour) and charr hides.

It works for me.

Venger. i forgot to mention this.

if you are looking spefcifically for runes. ask yourself which monsters drop "armor" type stuff. you "farm" those types in different areas and check who has the best results for rune drops. then youll know.

It's the way it has to be. Not only do people want to corner the market but ontop of it anytime a good farm spot goes public Anet nerfs it hard.

Alot better items drop the higher your level and the higher the level of the mobs you farm. You should keep that in mind.

alot better but not necessarily alot ... I've farmed many top level monsters *who drop armor* and only received a couple minor runes ... it is very dissapointing but I will not stop farming
